DecisionGrid is a team decision platform that helps organizations make collaborative decisions through weighted criteria scoring, consensus visualization, and decision documentation. The Service includes:

Solo Mode: Local decision-making without an account
Team Mode: Collaborative decision-making with authentication
Organization features for team management

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use Team Mode features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon the rights of others
Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

5. User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including decisions, criteria, scores, and comments ("User Content").

5.2 License

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of sharing it with others through the Service.

6. Organizations and Teams

When you create or join an organization, you agree that:

Organization owners and administrators may have access to decisions and data within the organization
Organization owners may remove members or delete the organization
Your participation in team decisions may be visible to other stakeholders

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by DecisionGrid and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

DecisionGrid is a decision support tool, not a decision-making authority. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information or analysis provided through the Service. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DECISIONGRID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DecisionGrid and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DecisionGrid operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
